According to the show’s organizers, more than 260,000 visitors are expected to attend the 52nd edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna in Italy this year—and they will discover a few changes. Visitors can expect to find 2,800 exhibitors this year, as well as 27 country pavilions.

Cosmopack will be held March 14-17, while the newly renamed Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics and Cosmo Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon will both take place March 15-18, 2019. The event is promoted as “one fair, three shows” and it has been re-organized in an effort to make it easier to navigate.

Cosmopack remains dedicated to the cosmetics supply chain and all of its components. It features suppliers from all areas of the cosmetics industry, including formulation and packaging production. Exhibitors are from the following sectors: ingredients and raw materials; contract and private label manufacturing; packaging; applicators; machinery; automation; and full-service solutions.

A Focus on Sustainability

Sustainability, and a circular economy, will be a central theme throughout the show this year. The Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics show will be a “temple of green beauty,” organizers say—especially in Hall 21.

The Cosmo Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon show will feature businesses placing a growing focus on green solutions, natural products, and corporate eco-sustainability.

Stop at the Cosmoprof Factory

Each year, Cosmoprof partners with a select group of exhibitors to recreate the manufacturing process of a cosmetic product, which visitors can watch during the event. This year, Cosmopack will present a sustainable factory in Pavilion 19.

A Few Not-To-Miss Areas

Cosmoprime, now in its third year, will be newly located in the prestigious Hall 14—and it is dedicated to the retail industry. The area will feature a select group of high-end exhibitors featuring masstige and prestige perfumery and cosmetic products.
“Green Prime” is an area designed to bring together masstige and prestige brands with an eco-friendly mission.

The show is open from 9:30 am through 6:30 pm for visitors, and from 8:30 am – 6:30 pm for exhibitors. The main entrance of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna is in Piazza della Costituzione, 5, 40128 Bologna.
